"Some people think the KITE LYNX HD and DD Optics fieldstar are the same binocular. Yes indeed and of course. DD Optics is our official partner for the German hunting market. Because our brand KITE OPTICS is not active in the German hunting market, we supply some of our instruments to DDoptics such as our LYNX HD, BONELLI and SP 82 ED scope. The warranty and service on those DD Optics instruments is also taken care of by us.
Some people think our LYNX HD is the same as the Nikon Monarch. This is of course not true. The LYNX HD is made of much better materials than the Nikon. Not only external, but specially internal we make our instruments much more durable. We also have a very different optical system. For example we have an extra 6 meters FOV. Some people on the forum seem to think that 6m difference is not so much… but in fact that is a very big difference and takes a lot of effort to develop and make. Also our minimum focus for example is almost 50% closer than Nikon’s. Also we have our Permavision coatings on the exterior lens surfaces, and so much more, so please do not think these are the same products."
